The only thing the client had in a brief for this was the business name, Redstone. I gave the name a back story that the client could tell and would give the brand some gravity.

The interlocking triangles are based on an ancient viking rune suggesting something similar to "Red" and "Stone".

It works particularly well on beautiful, high quality business cards which I also supply.
